About Us

The mission of the Cybersecurity Center is to facilitate innovation in research and cross-unit curriculum, teaching, and programming related to cybersecurity at William & Mary (W&M). The Center is situated centrally in the office of the Provost, with its strongest affiliation being to the departments of Computer Science and Data Science in the new school of Computing, Data Science, and Physics, but also embracing other units, including the William & Mary Law School, and the Mason School of Business.

How to get involved

If you are a student at W&M interested in:

  • Cybersecurity research: Look at the research page and the web pages of the Center-affiliated faculty (see the faculty directory), and feel free to contact them directly.
  • Cybersecurity club, competitions, and hackathons: Get involved with Tribe Cyber. The faculty advisor is Dr. Matt Chapman.
  • Participate in TribeCTF 2024, W&Mโ€™s first capture-the-flag (CTF) competition!
