🏆 TribeCyber Wins CyberForge 2025 CTF Championship

Hosted March 22–23 at Christopher Newport University, the CyberForge 2025 Capture the Flag (CTF) competition challenged students with realistic cybersecurity problems across digital forensics, exploitation, and incident response.
The W&M TribeCyber team—Lily Gloudemans, Nicolas Janis, Walker Knapp, and Zachary Boden—outperformed over 40 teams from universities across Virginia to bring home the championship title.

The CyberForge event was hosted by the Coastal Virginia Cybersecurity Student Association and sponsored by Deloitte.
Behind the Win: CyberForge Highlights
CyberForge 2025 was a two-day Cybersecurity Conference hosted by Christopher Newport College from March 22–23 and culminated in an intercollege capture the flag (CTF) competition. The event was spearheaded by the Coastal Virginia Cybersecurity Student Association and sponsored by Deloitte (CyberForge 2025 site).
The CTF posed a wide range of progressively difficult cyber challenges. With over 40 teams competing from across Virginia, William & Mary’s TribeCyber claimed first place, showcasing synchronized teamwork and technical excellence.
Final standings placed Virginia Tech in second and George Mason University in third
